The Jury of the Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition has chosen eight singers from those who competed in the Preliminary Round to take part in the Master Classes to be held on August 10-11. These classes will be held by Jury members Teresa Berganza, Thomas Moser, Yevgeny Nesterenko and Anna Tomowa-Sintow at the Sibelius Academy Concert Hall at Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 9. Admission to these is free for members of the public.
The students chosen for the Master Classes are among those who do not go through to the next round. They are free to choose the repertoire they wish to rehearse.
Master Class participants and schedule
The Master Classes beginning at 13 will end at about 14.35 (45 min + 45 min with a 5 min break in between)
The Master Classes beginning at 15 will end at about 16.35 (45 min + 45 min with a 5 min break in between)
